Departure posponed!

This is a good start! After having a blizzard in Munich at 4th of march, and it is still snowing, we have to pospone our departure. We don´t leave at 11th of march, but hopefully at march 13 or 14. The weather looks a little bit better than.

That´s our backyard at 5th of march, 8 a.m. After 30 hours we had about 70 cm of snow

On wednesday we made it to our garage, so that we can start with the first sunbeam and relatively dry roads.

Yesterday, 12.3.06, we did a short testride and were almost frozen afterwards. Therefore we decided to rent a van.

Not only the terrible coldness but also the not so good weather forecast is the reason fot that decision.

At the evening we put the bike into the van. Tomorrow morning we will start to the Brenner (Austrian - Italian border) and Harry will drive back to Munich.
